Here at straightJacket we have a theory. That theory is this:
Art is selfish.

Here is our explanation of this theory:
All art stems from people wanting to see something they haven't seen before. They aren't getting what they want out of what currently exists, so they make it themselves. They make art for the sole reason that they want to see, hear or feel something. Art is for self. It is of self. It is selfish.

We're not saying this is a bad thing. It's the reason we're here. It's the reason we've built this site.

We're not seeing what we want to see. We have a feeling you're not seeing what you want to see either. So, we're making our selfish art and we're sharing it with you, the picky masses.

limb steps forward
slowly
crooked
stiff
followed by the next
progress is made
the walking unconscious
sleep through work, work through day
mundane
really only living
only waking in their reveries
their night time wanderings
nocturnal wonders
